Derek brings 25 years of experience leading marketing teams with both Fortune 500 corporations and early-stage ventures. He started his career in brand management with the Clorox Company and also served as VP Corporate Marketing at Ecolab. More recently he was vice president of global marketing at Reinsurance Group of America, a Fortune 250 financial services company with 26 offices across North America, Europe and Asia, where he led a global product and brand relaunch.
As VP of marketing, Malmquist will lead the development and execution of Nepsis’ strategy to enhance the firm’s brand and grow its client base. He will oversee the creation of marketing materials and drive targeted campaigns across digital and traditional media. Collaborating closely with the executive team, he will ensure that marketing initiatives align with the firm’s strategic goals, particularly in advanced tax, estate and chief financial officer (CFO) services.
Derek is married and he and his wife Patricia have three boys. He is a sports fan and enjoys playing adult (i.e. “slow”) hockey, tennis and pickleball.
